I look back and am overwhelmed by how far I’ve come, how good God is, how He truly turned my suffering into His glory, and how deeply grateful I am for the trials from my hard season.
On this journey called life we can get so caught up in making it to our goals that we don’t take time to appreciate the milestones or the moment. Measuring progress is a great way to track goals, but too often we focus so much on the “incompletes” or “in progresses” that we miss out on appreciating what has happened and on where we are right now.
Having grit forced me to move forward, whether I thought I was ready or not. I mean seriously, who among us ever really thinks we’re ready when we are called to do something beyond what we feel we are capable of or even ready to do.
