I am a registered nurse, with a background in trauma and emergency nursing, and I serve as my rural hospital\u2019s emergency preparedness coordinator, handling all things related to disasters and emergencies.  I also run a twenty-person hospital hazardous material team and lead some 900 hospital staff in matters involving emergency management.  In addition, I am the lead nurse in an outpatient cardiac rehab program. I have degree in nursing science, a bachelor of organizational leadership, and a master of science in leadership. I serve on a variety of boards in my community in a volunteer capacity and am very active in my church, where I direct an adult class and sing in the choir.  I am learning to play the Celtic harp.
